Can the Clearlight® Red Light Therapy Tower be integrated into all Clearlight® saunas?
The Clearlight® Red Light Therapy Tower can be integrated into every Clearlight® infrared sauna. In the Sanctuary Yoga we recommend moving the bench closer to the tower for maximum benefit.
For the Sanctuary Yoga and the Sanctuary Corner an electrician should be consulted, as the total electrical load exceeds 16 A. The same applies if you already use the 300 W full spectrum heater add-on.
How do I use the Clearlight® Red Light Therapy Tower, and what is the ideal dosage?
When using the Clearlight Red Light Therapy Tower inside the sauna we recommend a 20 to 30 minute session. At about 15 cm from the tower, 10 to 20 minutes is enough. Consistency matters most at the start: daily use is recommended, which can later be reduced to three or four times a week. For areas of acute pain the treatment can be repeated two or three times a day.
Do I need to protect my eyes during red light therapy?
Eye protection is not required with the Clearlight® Red Light Therapy Tower, but you may find the light intensity uncomfortable. When you switch it on for the first time your eyes need a moment to adjust. Look away or close your eyes and open them slowly. Do not look directly into the LEDs.
Does the Red Light Therapy Tower affect the EMF levels in the sauna?
Every electrical device produces some electromagnetic radiation (EMF and ELF). Thanks to its careful design the Red Light Therapy Tower has no detectable EMF emissions at the minimum usage distance of 10 to 15 cm.
How long does a salt cartridge last?
A salt cartridge lasts about 20 to 30 minutes, then it needs replacing. The salt stays in the sauna air much longer.
How should I protect my Clearlight® outdoor sauna?
A cover is included free of charge with every outdoor sauna. Using the cover is mandatory for all outdoor infrared saunas to keep the warranty valid.
For the warranty to apply:
1. Your Clearlight® outdoor sauna is protected at all times by the cover or by a shelter such as a carport. If you choose not to use the supplied cover, your sauna must be housed in a weatherproof structure.
2. The sauna stands on a level, dry, load-bearing surface.
3. Cover and cabin are checked regularly for wear and kept clean.
